Call for Abstracts

ICNM is currently accepting proposals from Naturopathic Physicians who are interested in presenting during the 2013 general congress program, to be held July 7-9, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel Rive Gauche Paris. Naturopaths and Healthcare professionals across complementary medicine disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals.

Important note: Please read all guidelines before submitting an abstract. 
Incomplete abstracts may not be considered.

 

The Deadline for Abstract Submission is January 13th, 2013.
Confirmations will be sent by January 24th, 2013.
Submitters that their abstract has been accepted will have to register no later than
February 28, 2013.

Abstracts must be submitted via the Congress website.
The abstract form is to be filled in English only.
Abstracts submitted by fax or email will not be accepted, If you are unable to submit them via the website, please contact the Secretariat.

 

 

Please note:  your final presentation must contain clinical references.

Important notice!
 

Abstract body is limited to 300 words.
Tables must be created in the system directly and cannot be added as an attachment. Each cell has to be copied into the system separately.
 
When copying text into the abstract form, please note the following:

 • Special characters will not be copied properly. To insert special characters please use the
   "Insert Character" drop-down menu.
 
 • Text formatting is removed when copying the text. To keep the formatting, please use the
   "Insert Formatting" drop-down menu as follows:
 
 • Choose "Line break" to continue the text in the next row.
 
 • Choose "New Paragraph" to continue the text after two rows.
    Please use this instead of the "ENTER" button.
 
 • Choose the relevant line from the list in order to format your text with the Bold/Italic/Underline
    options.
 

After entering the abstract title and text, click the Preview button at the bottom of the page to view the abstract with the final formatting.
Make any necessary changes.


Note to all E-Poster submitters:

The abstracts accepted for poster presentation will be presented as E-posters (Electronic poster presentation). Once your E-posters abstracts are accepted, you will be asked to submit them also as a PPT file (if you haven't already done so). Note that these presentations are limited to 6 slides and will be converted to PDF, so please do not include any transitions between slides.


Presentation Type

Oral Presentation:

10-15 minutes of oral presentation, including screened presentation

Poster Presentation:

Electronic poster combined with up to 6 slides, presented throughout the whole conference duration on laptop computers based over the conference exhibition area.
This type of presentation will not include an oral presentation.

Should the number of accepted abstracts exceed the number of slots for oral presentations, abstracts may be presented as posters. Authors will be advised on the presentation form in the acceptance letter, together with the instructions for poster preparation.

 

Corrections to abstracts can only be made up until January 13th, 2013.
If an abstract is accepted, the presenting author will be asked to provide an expanded abstract and will have to register and attend the conference.

 

What is an E-poster?


• The E-poster is a poster presented as a PDF presentation.
• The E-poster presentations will be presented on a computer screen during the conference 
   and not on a regular poster board.
• Few computer stands will be distributed among the conference exhibition area.
• The E-poster system allows every delegate to see all e-poster presentations.
• The E-poster system allows you to search presentations by: Authors name, Abstract Title and 
  Topic.
• The E-poster system allows you to save a presentation on site either on disk-on key or send it
   by e- mail. 
• The uploaded E-poster should contain the same title, order of authors and affiliation details as
   the submitted
